Churn Dash for my Dad

This was a gift for my Dad, which I rushed to finish in time to mail before Christmas. The prints are mostly '30's feedsack reproduction prints that I bought as a fat eights bundle during the International Quilt Festival in Houston. I chose these prints, even though they are kind of girly, because he likes to point out the feedsack prints in the old family quilts that my Mom has collected over the years. The pattern is Churn Dash and was inspired by Amy Smart at Diary of a Quilter. When I talked to my folks at Christmas they said my nephew as wrapped up in the quilt while watching TV. I hope my Dad gets a chance to use it!
