Swooning for the first time

I hate to be a "me too!" but I have wanted to try Camille Roskelley's Swoon pattern. There is a Flickr group for a Swoon along, sort of a support group for "Swooning." There are so many beautiful color combinations that people have put together! So this past weekend I cut out and started piecing my first Swoon block and finished it yesterday.

AMQG Block of the Month 2011

I finally finished putting together my AMQG quilt along blocks this past weekend. I'm rather disappointed with the result. I plan to use it for practicing free motion quilting then make it a donation quilt.
